District Candidate Karen Klasen Pushes for Shared Services with City

District Council Candidate Karen Klasen wants to see the City and District share more of its services. Klasen says for taxpayers the savings would amount to $35 Million annually.

Klasen is running on a platform of fiscal responsibility.

In her press release, Klasen says: “I’m listening”, And I understand what’s important to you; fiscal accountability, team work on council, safety in our homes and schools and on the street, availability of green space, and the need for affordable housing for young families and our seniors”.
